The Abbey is run by a local Municipality so strict ceremony rules apply. It is also important to bear in mind it is a historical monument and needs to be treated with respect!

Even though both symbolic and legal ceremonies are possible here, the Municipality applies strict terms and conditions including pre-reading the ceremony script even if only a symbolic ceremony takes place. €100 fine for a ceremony delay for every 15 minutes, no hanging decor from the walls, and rain cover for up to 100 guests. Please know our local Planners will navigate these for you and you don’t need to worry about it, just prepare to be patient.
