Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if I don’t book a venue?
A: The £399 covers our research, personalised venue matching, and coordination service. Even if you don’t book right away, you’ll keep your curated venue pack for future reference.

Q: Why is there a fee?
A: Our matchmaking speeds up the process and ensures you get fast, accurate options with transparent pricing.

Q: Do I still pay the venue and planner directly?
A: Yes, you’ll book directly with your chosen venue. We simply save you time and stress by coordinating and confirming everything upfront and matching you with a trusted, available local planner to ensure a smooth transition on your wedding planning journey.

Q: Can I use your wedding venue matching service if I already have a planner?
A: Absolutely! Our matchmaking service complements planners by narrowing down the best venues and dates so you both can move forward faster.

Q: Can I get legally married abroad, and is my marriage legal everywhere?

This depends on which country you are going to. Every country has a minimum residency requirement before you can legally marry. If the required residency period is too long, you could have a symbolic ceremony abroad. Most European countries require just a few working days before the ceremony, making legal marriage possible. A local coordinator and planner can assist with obtaining the Town Hall marriage license and organising the Registrar. Most countries then provide or recommend a translator as well. Legal ceremonies in English are available in Cyprus and Malta.

Your marriage is then legal in every country; you might need to get the marriage certificate officially translated and stamped by an Apostille in your home country. Ladies (and some gentlemen), please note you will be traveling on the same passport there and back, no need to change your surname until you are back home!

We always recommend a symbolic ceremony at the venue as it is far easier and you can personalise the text, music, and timings to your vision!

Q: How do I find the suppliers I need to complete my wedding day?

Our local wedding planners will assist with booking additional wedding vendors/suppliers. From hair and make-up, to a photographer, transportation, and musicians, they have a great portfolio of contacts. However, you are welcome to organise and invite your suppliers/vendors if you wish. Booking the venue and a planner to start with gives you that flexibility.

Q: How and when do I book my travel?

Follow our Travel link on our main page - you can book your flights and travel there.

Wedding dates can usually be booked years ahead, whereas flights and travel can only be booked 12 - 11 months before travel. Secure your wedding date first and keep an eye on flight releases, as the first issue of flight times is usually a lot cheaper.

Q: Can I speak to a real person when booking my wedding with you?

Of course, our LiveChat was created by an experienced wedding planner and travel agent, Martina. We are always working on improvements, and Martina is available for a consultation as well. Once your wedding is booked, you will be in contact with your local coordinator/planner, who will look after you from the point of booking until your last glass of bubbly on your wedding day!

However, please note that destination weddings have a more relaxed planning process, and you will speak to your coordinator more frequently within the last six months before the wedding, rather than continuously from the booking point.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel or postpone my wedding?

We understand that life happens and plans can change. All bookings are subject to the Terms & Conditions, which you will sign at the time of booking. Venues are booked with a deposit required by each venue. Deposits are non-refundable. Postponement fees might apply depending on the Terms & Conditions. Our general Terms & Conditions can be viewed here.

Q: Can I set up a payment plan with you?

Direct Debit is something we are currently working on. Your Terms & Conditions will include dates and sums needed for both the venue and the wedding planner, and we will send you reminders. Payments by card and direct transfers are available.
