A Rustic Elegance in the heart of Tuscany
Built on the foundations of an 18th-century poststation, Villa Le Querce was originally a stable for animals and hay storage. In the early 1900s, the owners began transforming it into a manor house, though the project was halted due to the belief that agricultural work was unsuitable for women.
Villa Le Querce is located less than 3km from San Galgano Abbey—one of Tuscany’s most famous wedding venues—and the Eremo of Montesiepi, home to the legendary Sword in the Stone, left by Galgano Guidotti in 1180 when he renounced his knightly life.
The villa is also just a short drive from some of Tuscany’s most iconic destinations, including Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and even the coast, offering daily excursions to Elba Island.
Villa Le Querce is an authentic Tuscan farmhouse (450m²) with four apartments, a common area featuring an open fireplace, and a large kitchen. The villa also boasts two additional large halls, perfect for wedding receptions, dance floors, meetings, workshops, group exercises, or yoga retreats. The expansive outdoor terraces (100m²) provide idyllic spaces for al fresco dining, relaxing with a book, or enjoying a sunset drink with friends.
The saltwater pool (16m x 8m), surrounded by over 6,000m² of beautifully maintained gardens, is for the exclusive use of villa guests. Illuminated at night, it creates a serene oasis to unwind and immerse in nature. The villa’s secluded location, surrounded by woodlands, offers breathtaking starry skies on clear nights.

For couples dreaming of a magical ceremony, San Galgano Abbey offers both legal and symbolic weddings at an additional charge of:
